We’ve walked the jinzibei historic trail on a really hot day (like almost every day in Taipei in summer).

To get there you can take train 4208 at Nangang Train Station and go to Houtong Station (about 45 min).

The main point of the walk is to reach the golden letters tablet.

As usual, I really don’t like to go back on my steps, so we continued.

As you can see when you can have a look through the jungle, you have a pretty nice view of the mountains.

We also went through a really nice baboo forest.

At one point you should reach the Tanyou Pavilion.

We continued and the rest of the road was almost always going down.

We finished by reaching the Mudan station. From there you can take Train 4193 to Nangang station (around 1h00).
