Sandiaoling trail is really nice hiking that can take an entire afternoon. It’s the kins of hike I like, very varied with different paths, bridges, climbs, waterfalls …

To go to Sandiaoling, you have to take the famous Pingxi Line and take train 4162 from Nangang station and stop at Sandiaoling station (1h).

For reaching the trail, you first have to go along the train tracks, cross a bridge and reach the village called Yuliao. There you should see the start of the Sandiaoling Waterfall Trail.

During the trail you will see some waterfalls. The first you will see is the Hegu Waterfall.

From what I remember the trail is easy to follow.
