To do the Dajian Mountain loop, take Train number 1148 at nangang train station and stop at Xhizi Station (~ 8 min).

Dajian Mountain loop from what I remember is a not a big loop and not that steep.

You start at a really nice temple and a great view. Frim almost all the hikings around taipei you have a nice view of the city but I must say this one was one of my favorites !

The walk is mostely through the jungle (like almost evert hike in the jungle). Like I said, it’s really an easy one.

Once we reached the Waterfall, we were a bit disappointed because there was really no water, it was a waterfall without water haha !

On our way back we had the nice surprise to see some wild monkeys. Wild monkeys but very used to humans. One of them even wanted to break into the store next to the temple !
