To get to Wuji Tianyuan Temple, take Bus number 875 from Tamsui station MRT (red line, terminus) and stop at Tianyuan temple (20 min).

I heard about the existence of this temple the last time I was in Taiwan and I was super suprised…. I never heard about this temple before. That’s the perfect example that the best spots are not always mentionned on touristic recommendation platforms.

Taiwan, being not the big touristic place ever, and that’s what I love about it, there is not a lot of information about places to visit. So after spending time on some blogs and google maps, I found the # tool on instagram with for example #taiwantemple and so I discovered this temple thanks to the #.

From the pictures I saw on instagram, this place is mainly visited during spring because of the cherry blossom.

I would totally recommend this temple, it’s really outstanding from outside, but also the inside is very beautiful.

It has a lot of floors and every floor has a different decoration. What impressed me was the perfect symmetry of each floor.
