Tianxang, at the confluence of the Liwu and Dasha Rivers, is the site of an old Atayal village.
Tianxang was named in memory of Wen Tian-xiang, an historic figure (Chinese poet and politician in the last years of the Song Dynasty).
Tianxang offers accommodations and restaurants.

On the cliff you will see the White robed Guanyin Statue of almost 8 meters and the Tianfeng Pagoda of 7 meters high.
