To do the Xinlao waterfall trail take train number 432 at Nangang station until Luodong Station (express : around 1h10).

Then take Bus GR25 from luodong bus Station to Dongshan (Zhongshan) Tourist Service Center (around 35 min).

The start of the trail is at the Dongshan Forest Police Station.

This hike is really nice and really simple. It goes along the different level of the Xinlao waterfall.

Funny fact, by climbing this rock I fellt in the water and was almost totally wet.

On our way back; it started raining and I decided, at the beginning of the trail where there is a lot of little water pounds, to take a little swim inside it with my clothes on. Yes in Taiwan, even when it rains, it’s still warm enough. So I finished this trail totally wet !
