Datong District – Dalongdong baoan temple

Dalongdong baoan temple is close to the Confucius temple. To go there you have to take the Red Line to Yuanshan Station. The temple is situated in the Hami Street.

The Dalongdong baoan temple was one of the first temple I’ve visited. Situated near one of the Confucius temple, it’s a neighborhood where you have a lot to see.

Dalongdong baoan temple is, I think one of the most famous temples in Taipei, like the Lungshan Temple.

The temple was first a wooden shrine but was replaced later with we can see nowadays. Since 2003, Dalongdong baoan temple is part of the UNESCO cultural heritage conservation.

Dedicated to the god of medicine : Baosheng Dadi , this temple, as you can see from the pictures, is richly adorned.

Here you can see the Garden of the Temple not far from the main Entrance. You have a lot of funny statues and a nice water pound with the usual big carps.
