Yehliu has a kind of landscape you will never see twice.

The first time I’ve been there was in 2012, the first time I’ve been to Taiwan and wasn’t expecting anything. My sister in Law organized us a big car tour around taipei and we stopped at Yehliu Geopark.

Yes, there is mostly a lot of people, being one of the main tourist attraction around taipei but it’s still worth it.

Like I said it’s a really special place, sometimes you really feel you are on another planet, like on the moon. So it’s a really cool place to take pictures.

There is famous sculptures like the Queen Head in front of which you will see lines of people to take pictures but honestly, like always, it’s not the most famous places which are the best, in the park there is really a lot of nice places as impressive as these few sculptures so take really the time to explore the park which is quit big.

It’s one of the rare place I’ve been twice. The second time I’ve been by bus with the number 1815 from Taipei city hall bus station until Yehliu station (around 1.15).
